Gary Conniff – Speaker
Gary Conniff MSM is a former Royal Navy Warrant Officer First Class with 34 years of service. Having joined the Royal Navy in 1973, Gary has enjoyed a varied career. After completing his specialist Communications Training, he served on the destroyers HMS Glamorgan and HMS Glasgow and was then selected for service in the Royal Yacht Britannia
Ken Lennox – Speaker
Ken Lennox has spent his career working for newspapers and magazines in the UK and overseas. He was an accredited royal photographer, travelling extensively to cover tours with Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles and Princess Diana. He has followed the fortunes of Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward.
Sandie Izatt – Craft
After spending 20 years as a social worker and gaining her diploma at Anglia Ruskin University, Sandie has now retired and is able to enjoy her passions of crafting, travelling, and meeting new people. She previously owned a craft shop where she also taught others. Sandie will lead royal themed craft workshops during the cruise.
Hopping from beautiful island to beautiful island, we will take you from stylish St. Peter Port in Guernsey to the colourful houses of Tobermory in Mull, and from the lush landscapes of Scilly to the remote northern settlement of Orkney. We’ll even fit in a flying visit to Le Havre in France to soak up the continental atmosphere.

Departing from London Tilbury and six other UK regional departure ports including Newcastle, Dundee, Liverpool, Belfast, Bristol and Falmouth, Ambassador Cruise Line offer a carefully curated no-fly programme of over 91 yearly sailings. Featured destinations will including the British Isles, the Norwegian Fjords, Greenland, the Arctic and Iceland, plus several short break cruises. For the winter months a range of exploration style voyages will sail to the Canaries, Cuba, the Caribbean, Cape Verde and Scandinavia. In accordance with The Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018, Ambassador have insurance cover in place to financially protect all guests booking with Ambassador Cruise Line, for all monies paid either directly or via their travel agent. In addition, Ambassador operate a fully independently managed Trust Account where guests’ funds are deposited and only released when the cruise departs. Ambassador’s offer also includes a booking guarantee in the event of a cancelled cruise.

In addition to being ABTA members, our guests are financially protected by a Financial Failure Insurance policy which is managed by TMU Management Limited and underwritten by Accelerant Insurance Europe SA who are regulated by the Financial Services and Markets Authority (3193). We will continue to pay guests’ deposits and balance payments into an independently managed trust account.
We also guarantee the highest of health and safety standards, including a policy that requires all our guests and crew to be vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to sailing, subject to any exemptions*. You can relax knowing we have taken care of everything on board and are working closely with destinations to adhere to local health guidelines.
